I met Kayla at a Starbucks in Mt. Pleasant and I fell in love with her in under fifteen minutes. Not only was she especially awesome in general but she was warm and genuine and decided to trust my opinions without really knowing me. I always ask my brides about their husband-to-be and Kayla’s response bubbled out and over like a pot of boiling water, like she just couldn’t wait to tell me about the love and joy she and Matt have in each other. After that I fell in love with Matt too and wondered if they would adopt me later, after all of the wedding buzz died down.
Kayla and Matt got married at East Cooper Baptist Church and celebrated at Boone Hall Plantation, a place so dear to me that I thought all this love was going to make my heart pop. We decorated this happy day with earthy, natural greenery, lush garlands, and one wildflower bouquet for the free spirited jewel that Matt get’s to call his wife.
