Jess & Garrett - The Historic Rice Mill

Updated: Dec 16, 2019

This wedding had one of the most streamlined planning processes that I've ever been a part of. It was invigorating. When you get a call from a wedding planner (in this case, the especially efficient and organized Samantha Anderson) and she says, "The bride's pretty laid back. Here are her colors, just go for it." one knows that they should probably panic. Lots of people think they're laid-back and easily pleased but when you show up on the day, they are many things besides not laid-back.

We took Jess' lush color palette and breezy outlook to make... well, lush and breezy wedding day decor and to my profound delight, Jess and Garett and their parents and guests were the most delightfully unburdened bunch of people. To be honest, I don't think the flowers (or any of the luxuries of a wedding day) were all that important to them. They were all just so happy to celebrate the marriage and it showed. This wedding day is in my all time favorites.
